  • Solang Valley: Solang Valley derives its name from a combination of the words Solang (Nearby village) and Nallah (water stream). It is a side valley at the top of the Kullu Valley in Himachal Pradesh, India 14 km northwest of the resort town Manali on the way to Rohtang Pass, and is known for its summer and winter sports conditions. The sports most commonly open are parachuting, paragliding, skating, and zorbing.

 

  • Jogini Waterfall: Jogini Falls is an attractive waterfall located near Vashisht Village in Himachal Pradesh. The fall is made by a river which is combined into Beas River downriver from a height of around 150 feet through. The waterfall can be reached by trekking from Vashisht Temple. There is a small pool on the ground formed by the fall and visitors can take a dive in the water and spend time. Jogini Mata temple is at the base of the waterfall. It is a blessed sight to the surrounding villages. The trek to Jogini Falls is the best short trek near Manali. The trek route passes through a narrow lane next to the Vashisht temple and goes through apple orchards, tall pine trees, and small water streams. On the way, restaurants and guest houses are also present. A walk will take 1 hour to reach the base of the waterfall. The top point of the waterfall can be reached by a walk of another 15 minutes.

 

  •  Rohtang Pass: Rohtang Pass is a high mountain pass (elevation 3,980 m (13,058 ft)) on the eastern end of the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas around 51 km (32 mi) from Manali in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It connects the Kullu Valley with the Lahaul and Spiti Valleys of Himachal Pradesh, India. One of the major attractions of Rohtang Pass is that it is one of the highest passes in the Himalayas. The name Rohtang means 'ground of corpses' due to the number of people who lost their lives while crossing this difficult mountain range. It is located on the Pir Panjal Mountain Range of the Himalayas and serves as the gateway to Pangi and the valley of Leh. The Rohtang Pass is a natural divide between the humid Kullu Valley, which has a predominantly Hindu culture, and high altitude Lahaul and Spiti Valleys, which are predominantly Buddhist.
