  • Bara Imambara: Bara Imambara, also known as Asfi Imambara is an Imambara in Lucknow, constructed by Asaf-ud-Daula, Nawab of Awadh in 1784. It is a chief place of worship for the Muslims who come here every year to celebrate the festival of Muharram. Bara Imambara is the second largest after the Nizamat Imambara. The Imambara has a unique style of construction, no wood or metal has been used in the construction of this mosque. The Imambara is mainly known for its incredible maze, known as Bhul Bhulaiya locally, which is located on the upper floor of the monument. It is said that there are 1024 ways to get inside the maze but only 2 to come out.

 

  • Janeshwar Mishra Park: Janeshwar Mishra Park is a city park located in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow. It was constructed in the memory of late Samajwadi Party leader Janeshwar Mishra. The park was inaugurated on 5 August 2014 and opened to the public. The park has been developed along the lines of Hyde Park in London. It has been conceptualized and designed as a multifunctional environmental and recreational green that will not only provide a permanent habitat for various species of birds but will also provide a major entertainment and recreation center for all sections of society.

 

  • Hazratganj: Hazratganj is the downtown and the main shopping center of Lucknow, the capital and the largest city of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. In addition to bazaars, it also contains shopping complexes, restaurants, hotels, theatres, cafés, and many offices. Lucknow is well-known for the art of Chikankari (Chikan embroidery). At Hazratganj, you can find a variation of Chikan work at several stores in the Janpath Market. Hazratganj is also the center for various other handicrafts and handmade objects.

 

  • Ambedkar Memorial Park: Ambedkar Memorial Park, formally known as Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Samajik Parivartan Prateek Sthal, is a public park and memorial in Gomti Nagar, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. The memorial is dedicated to B. R. Ambedkar, the 20th-century Indian polymath and the chief author of the Indian Constitution. The park also honors the lives and memories of Jyoti Rao Phule, Narayana Guru, Birsa Munda, Shahuji Maharaj, and Kanshi Ram. The park also has 124 monumental elephants. The memorial was constructed by Mayawati, the former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, during her administration when she led the Bahujan Samaj Party. The Ambedkar Stupa is the main attraction situated at the center of the park. With the four entrances, the structure is built on the lines of a flower with four petals. The other hold of the park is the 80 ft tall pyramid structure which is named Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Memorial Drashya Sthal.

 

  • Rumi Darwaza: The Rumi Darwaza, is an impressive gateway that was built by Nawab Asaf-Ud-Daula in 1784. It is a sample of Awadhi architecture. The Rumi Darwaza, which stands sixty feet tall, was made after the Sublime Porte in Istanbul. It is next to the Asafi Imambara, Teele Wali Masjid in Lucknow, and has become a logo for the city of Lucknow. This huge gate is situated between Bara Imambara and Chota Imambara. This place is usually very much busy all day, and during vacations, most of the tourists visit. The streets are renovated as it was earlier constructed of hard brick roadways. The design of the gate denotes the most famous industry for which the city Lucknow itself is known - 'Chikankari'.
